The Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) has announced internship opportunities for Kenyan graduates.
Kenyans who recently graduated with a first degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Banking, Accounting, Micro-Finance, Management or Social Sciences, Law or related fields have been encouraged to apply.
A master's degree holder in the relevant field can as well apply.

The graduates must be aged between 21 and 29 and have graduated within the last 24 months or awaiting graduation.

The applicants should not have been employed somewhere, either as an intern, gaining experience in their area of study.
The internship programme will last for six months, after which the candidates will be released to the job market.
The regulator stated categorically that the internship is not renewable and does not guarantee direct employment.
Applicants have until Monday, August 22, to submit their applications.
They can also make online applications by filling in the relevant information in the CBK career portal.
In July 2022, the government announced internship opportunities for new graduates in the fresh recruitment drive.

The Public Service Commission (PSC) announced 4,000 internship vacancies to be applied for before August 9.
The successful recruits, who will work for 12 months, will be paid a stipend at a rate determined by the PSC.
Successful applicants will be tasked with completing duties mutually agreed upon and assigned by the supervisors.
They will also be required to actively participate in any relevant mentorship activities and additional responsibilities designed for the programme.
The internship will last for 12 months. However, the period is not renewable.
