Kenya’s reggae show host Tallia Oyando popularly known as the “Night Nurse,” has announced her exit from Citizen TV’s reggae show, One Love, that airs on Saturday night.
Tallia has called it quits after eight remarkable years.
In an emotional message shared via her official Instagram account on Monday, January 20, 2025, Talia expressed her gratitude to fans who have supported her journey, making the show a staple for reggae lovers.
She, however, did not reveal her next stop, but hinted at exploring more opportunities.
While the details of her next chapter remain under wraps, Tallia’s message hints at exciting opportunities ahead.
She further promised an electrifying show during the final episode of One Love which will air on Saturday this week.
“As I take a bow from One Love, I leave you with this: “Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery, none but ourselves can free our minds.” Let the music keep freeing your spirit, lifting your soul, and uniting us all. This is not a goodbye; it’s a celebration of the music, the memories, and the family we’ve built. Like the songs we’ve cherished together, my love for you will never fade. “Don’t worry about a thing, cause every little thing is gonna be alright.” With eternal gratitude and One Love, I remain your Night Nurse.”
While doing last week’s show, Tallia had hinted to her fans about her exit when she invited them to what she termed as the last episode of One Love.
She, however, made it clear to them that it was not a goodbye message, maintaining that she was still in the industry.
At the time, the show used to air from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, with Tallia hosting 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm slot dubbed Reggae Roots, as Coco Soboo Moto hosted Reggae Top 10 segment between 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm.
