James Mugo Ndichu alias Dr. Mugo wa Wairimu will spend the next 29 years and six months behind bars.
This is after he was found guilty of operating an illegal clinic and sexually abusing patients after drugging them.
He was handed the prison sentence by Magistrate Wendy Muchemi who described him as dangerous to the society.
“Instead of using the knowledge he says he acquired to improve society, he went ahead by purporting to be a gynecologist and administering drugs,” said the Magistrate while sentencing him.
Mugo first came into the limelight four years ago after he was accused of sedating his female patients and sexually assaulting them at his illegal clinics in Githurai and Zimmerman estates in Nairobi city.
