Media personality Betty Kyallo has warned women to thoroughly research companies offering cosmetic surgery before committing to any procedures.
Through her Instastories on Thursday, October 31, 2024, Kyallo advised caution amid an increase in botched surgeries, some of which have led to fatal consequences.
“Ladies, we all need to be careful with companies that come out with well-put-together advertising, especially when it comes to changing our bodies through cosmetic surgery,” she said.
She emphasized the importance of scrutinizing influencer endorsements, stressing that women should not blindly trust advertising campaigns aimed at promoting body-enhancing surgeries.
Kyallo urged potential clients to go beyond the surface of flashy advertising and influencer recommendations.
She advised women to ask questions, verify credentials, and ensure that companies are certified by recognized regulatory bodies before making any decisions.
Kyallo said that women should avoid falling victim to unqualified practitioners who may not have the necessary skills or licenses to perform safe surgeries.
“Before you believe any influencers talking about altering your body to look better and advertising done well. Please do your research well, ask questions, and demand to see legit certificates from governing bodies,” Kyallo advised.
In a series of lively Instagram stories shared on October 29, 2024, Vera gave her followers a front-row seat to her beauty transformation journey, revealing that the procedure took two hours.
“So you guys keep asking kwani Vera ako na sura ngapi. Every day a different face. Guess what? I’m here for a new face. Niko na sura 35,” she quipped.
Just two hours later, Vera showed off her face on social media from the clinic with no makeup on just a sculpted visage.
“2 hours later snatched for the gods,” she said.
Adding;
“I look amazing.”
The socialite has previously undergone several cosmetic surgeries in pursuit of a perfect body, including a Ksh15 million skin bleach, a Ksh2 million breast augmentation, and the addition of veneers.
