Mixed reaction on Kenya election 2022
The Kenyan election in 2022 has been characterized by mixed reactions throughout the country. The election has been generally conducted without much interference in most election stations. The election duration was to be conducted from 6 a.m to 5 p.m. Election time was extended for polling stations where elections started late and where voters were voting past 5 p.m. The following can be noted in this election:
- Low voter turn out
- Delays caused by KIEMS Kits identification issues in some polling stations
- Peaceful voting in most polling stations
- Postponed election for certain positions due to errors in printing of some of voting forms.
