Machakos County Assembly has approved Governor Wavinya Ndeti’s County Executive Cabinet (CEC) nominees.

This was followed by an official gazette notice by the Governor who lauded the county assembly leadership and MCAs for leading a rigorous vetting process for the CECs.

“With the CEC members approved, it is now all systems go. Delivering our promise to the people of Machakos County is our main priority,” said Governor Ndeti

The CECs include; former Kenya Medical practitioners and Dentists Union (KMPDU) CEO Daniel Yumbya (Health), Consolata Mutisya (Devolution), Onesmus Kuyu (Finance), Nathaniel Nganga Reuben (Roads and Public Works), Philip Kilonzo (Lands, urban Development, Housing and Energy), and Bishop Joel Nzomo Kiilu (Agriculture).

Others are Catherine Mutanu Raphael (Water, Irrigation, Environment and Climate Change), Joyce Mwikali Muindi (Education), Sharon Mutua (Trade, Industry, Tourism and Innovation), and Onesmus Muasya (Gender, Youth, Sports and Social Welfare).

The Assembly also approved Victor Muya Ndambuki as the County Attorney.
