Lawyer Danstan Omari now claims that police have broken into the home of former Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i in Karen despite failing to secure a court order.
Omari, who is representing Fred Matiang’i, claimed that the police stormed the home at 4.30 pm.
The alleged raid comes a day after a Kiambu court declined a request by the DCI to grant them a search order to access the former cabinet minister’s house.
Today, another court in Milimani declined a bid by the DCI to obtain CCTV footage from Dr. Matiang’i’s home.
