It is reported that the burglars stormed the Oyugis and Ndhiwa Courts on separate occasions.
According to Isaac Ochola, the Oyugis court administrator, the thieves invaded Oyugis court on Wednesday night and stole the gadgets from the criminal registry and the cash office.
“We recorded a statement with police that the offices were locked with the gadgets inside when we left for home that evening,” Ochola said.
This was barely two weeks after they invaded Ndhiwa court and parted with valuables.
He, however, pointed out that security officers manning the premises on the day the burglary took place are being held by police for interrogations.
Kavoo further assured the courts that police are probing the incident.
“They are being interrogated to divulge information on how the gadgets went missing. In the meantime we appeal to the judiciary to set up CCTV cameras to boost security in courts,” he stated.
