Speaking on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, during a televised interview with K24 TV, Nyamu stated that she has not gone broke.

She thanked her fans for their concerns, assuring them that they should not be worried about anything.

However, she hinted at someone being behind a scheme to intimidate her into doing something, which she says is not right.

Nyamu further noted that the right way should be followed but failed to reveal the said scheme, saying that she did not want to address the issue in public.

“There are people who think that they can use rogue means to arm-twist you and intimidate you into bulging and going to the wings to make commitments they know very well are not right. And I am here to teach them that it does not always work with everyone; the right way has to be followed. I do not therefore want to address the issues in public,” Nyamu said.

She went ahead to claim that following the concerns raised by Kenyans on social media on Monday, November 18, 2024, a section of netizens had sent her some money in the form of contributions.

However, she says that she is not broke at the moment and does not therefore need the contributions, but should any need arise, she would notify her followers and fans.

“Yesterday I got people wanting to raise money for me. They think I am broke; I am not broke, but thank you for your concern. I actually got some contributions on my phone, and I am very thankful, but I am fine; I do not need it right now. When I need it, I will definitely be giving you a pay bill number,” she stated.

A section of netizens on Monday, November 18, 2024, claimed that Nyamu had been raided by auctioneers at her home in the leafy suburbs of Nairobi’s Runda estate because of outstanding Ksh1.25 million.

They shared videos of the nominated senator in what they claimed to be her Runda home compound as she engaged some unknown people.
