Wiper Democratic Movement Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka on Thursday, November 7, 2024, joined the family of the late content creator Tabitha Gatwiri in Nairobi to express their condolences following her untimely passing.

Kalonzo was accompanied by former Kiambu County Governor Ferdinand Waititu, Kitui County Senator Enock Wambua, and a section of leaders from Nairobi county.

In a statement shared via his official X account, Kalonzo stated that he had conveyed his profound sorrow to Gatwiri’s brother Brian and father Robert Kirimi, recalling her as an extraordinarily gifted individual who left a lasting mark on the lives of many.

Kalonzo also expressed his appreciation for other public figures and content creators who have shown their support to Gatwiri’s family in this challenging time, including Alex Mathenge, comedians MCA Tricky, Naomi Kuria and Shipira.

“Gatwiri was extremely gifted, as I told her brother Brian and father Robert Kirimi. The global outpouring of sorrow and loss demonstrates how profoundly Gatwiri’s talents impacted a great number of people. The creative industry has lost a vital content producer, and I thank Alex Mathenge aka “Security Engineer”, MCA Tricky, Naomi Kuria, and Shipira for standing with the family at this most difficult moment.”

Kalonzo had on November 1, 2024, sent a heartfelt condolence message to the family of Gatwiri.

“My heart hurts as I pen this condolence message to the family of Tabitha Gatwiri,” Kalonzo wrote on his Facebook page..

“I met this incredible soul a few years back. Gatwiri was vibrant indeed knowledgeable. She was a young woman absolutely determined to change the world for the better with her ideas.”

News about her sudden death went viral on Thursday, October 31, 2024, after her body was discovered in her house.

Her family and friends said Gatwiri passed on after a short illness.

Gatwiri’s body was moved to the Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral Hospital mortuary.
