The former radio host further advised Mutisya to find better ways of making a living and stop the entitlement, adding that being a doppelganger is not a career.
“Munajua nacheka nini? Hii ni maajabu! Yaani mkifanana sasa ukuwe responsibility yangu ungekuwa unafanana na mimi pia kwa kujituma na kutafuta haungefanya hii interview! So ukiulizwa, what do you do for a living…. Ooohh, nafanana na Jalas!,” Jalang’o reacted.
Jalango’s sentiments have been echoed by many who called out his lookalike for being entitled.
“You are so entitled. So juu mtu anafanana na wewe imekuwa right yako?” Jacky B producer asked.
“ENTITLEMENT!! He needs to help you because you look like him?? Puga! Who told you to look like him??” Oga Obinna added.
“Watu wajitumee waache kutegemea look a like,” Inno said.
“Hawa Look alikes Wanasumbua Sana… Wanataka mfanane mpaka mfuko… Reason I had to Take Mboya to Exile!,” 2mbili added.
In an updated video that has since gone viral, Jalango’s lookalike, who refers to himself as Jalas Junior, lamented how his celebrity lookalike failed to honour a promise he made three years ago during a live interview.
Disappointed by his actions, Jalas Junior revealed that his attempts to text or call the legislature have often gone unanswered or received delayed responses, adding that he has not followed through with his promises.
Recounting their first meeting with his celebrity lookalike, the content creator disclosed receiving only Ksh 1,000, despite Jalang’o’s pledge to change his life.
Breaking down his expenditure, Mutisya explained that he used Ksh600 for a taxi, gave Ksh200 to the person who accompanied him, and the remaining Ksh100 for his journey home, adding that he only ate Ksh100.
“Watu huniita Jalang’o kila mahali wakitaka niwapee kakitu na mimi sina kitu alinipea tu 1 thousand. He promised to help me, but he never did. It’s now 3 years down the line. He doesn’t answer my calls. Kama alinitumia for views aseme tu,” Jalas Junior said.
“Iyo Ksh1000 alinipea nililipa cab Ksh600, nikapea huyo jamaa nilienda na yeye 200, nikalipa fare hadi kwa nyumba Ksh 100, only ate his Ksh100.”
Jalang’o and his lookalike first met in November 2021 during an interview on Bonga na Jalas.
