Taking to his Instagram account, the MP reacted to an undated video of Ruto advising youth to embrace digital space, especially forex trading.

Salasya likened forex trading to g******g adding that the H**d of State should have encouraged youths to engage in online writing instead.

He further stated that the country’s economy would be at stake if the president continued his forex trade drive.

“Aki wewe rais si uwambie vijana ata mambo na online writing hii yako ya forex ni kama g******g si hivi ndio tutaanza g******g with our economy the way you are doing,” Salasya said.

The Democratic Action Party-Kenya (DAP-K ) lawmaker urged the president to connect Kenyan youths with overseas countries that offer online writing jobs such as article and academic writing.

He further added that online writing jobs should be exempted from tax as a way of promoting professionalism.

“You could be telling outside countries that offer online writing like articles and academic writing you have zeroed taxes to our youths on any online job writing that is promoting professionalism. Lakini hii yako ya forex nikama betting aki wewe rais tunakupenda hivyo bure kama ule mtu wetu wa tarumbeta wa kanyambora hatujui sasa tutakusaidia aje,” Salasya said.

In an undated video, Ruto revealed how a young person is earning a lot of money from forex trading.

“I was in Kinangop yesterday at the technical college and I spoke to a gentleman called Juma and  Juma was telling me how he makes money through forex trading and this is a student who is in Kinangop,” he said.

The H**d of State further revealed that apart from Juma many young Kenyans have their digital work monetized.

“I went to Matuga at the technical college of Matuga I met the same p****e who are monetized using their talents in the digital space I have been in many parts of Kenya and I have witnessed young Kenyans who today courtesy of our ICT hub are monetizing their digital work,” Ruto added.
