98 people have tested positive for Covid-19 from a sample size of 815 tested in the last 24 hours.

The total confirmed positive cases are now 341,460 with cumulative tests so far conducted standing at 3,939,702.

44 are male while 54 are female with the youngest aged three years while the oldest is 81 years old.

In terms of County distribution, 22 of the cases are from Nairobi, Kilifi 13, Nakuru 11, Kitui 11, Siaya 6, Nyeri 5, Uasin Gishu 5, Kiambu 5, Kericho 5, Kisumu 4, Meru 3, Narok 3, Busia 2, Kakamega 2, and Mombasa 1.

Distribution of positive cases by age is as follows; 0-9 years (3), 10-19 years (2), 20-29 years (25), 30-39 (27), 40-49 (10) 50-59 (10), 60 years and above (21).

90 patients have recovered from Covid-19, 88 from the Home based Care and Isolation program while two are from various health facilities in the country.

This pushes the total recoveries to 335,012 of whom 281,323 are from the Home Based Care and
Isolation program, while 53,689 are from various health facilities across the country.

No fatalities were recorded during the period under review so the cumulative fatalities remain at 5,684.

Cumulative deaths by age remain; 0-9 years (62), 10-19 years (44), 20-29 (152), 30-39 years (415), 40-49 years (654), 50-59 years (1,032), 60 years and above (3,325).

There are 24 patients currently admitted in the health facilities, while 769 are under the Home-Based Isolation and Care program.

1 other patient is on supplemental oxygen, and is in the General ward.
